Week 1 News & Notes

Hello Thunder Families,

I wanted to thank everyone for a good first week of flag football. It was nice to see the players running on the fields again. Couple things that I want to remind everyone on:

1) We are not allowed to park on any grass at the park. If seen, it is possible to be ticketed by WPD. This is out of our control so please be aware that it is not allowed.

2) Drop off and Pick up of your player -
Drop off-
Please walk your child up to the basketball courts and meet with your team's coach. The coach will then take the team to their practice area.
Pick up-
The coach will lead the team back to the basketball courts at the end of practice where parents can meet their child.
I know this is not fun but to avoid the creation of logs and recording all visitors to the fields we ask that we follow this procedure every Wednesday practice night.

3) We would like to have a brief meeting with all our players parents this Wednesday at 5:45pm at the basketball court.

4) If you haven’t paid your flag or cheer fee yet, please do so by this Wednesday. We would greatly appreciate it.

For Games: Parents and family (up to 6 people) will be allowed to walk their player to the game field assigned we ask that you don't walk across the actual playing field but keep to the perimeter of the fields. Once you drop your player off you are welcome to find space on either sideline to sit and watch the game. Please keep your group 6 ft away from the next. We also will be asking for volunteers from our parents weekly to help assist with the scoreboards. We greatly appreciate any help we can get.
